Consulate General of Mexico

This 32,260sf tenant improvement was completed for the Consulate General of Mexico in a new two story building located in the Natomas area of Sacramento.  This is the first time that the Mexican Government owns the building that hosts its Consular offices in Sacramento since they arrived to the city in 1942.

The consulate serves 800,000 Mexican immigrants living in Central and Northern California.  The facility receives between 350 and 500 people a day, most seeking travel documents, birth certificates, Mexican business visas, power of attorney or the consulate heath care window.  Mexico has maintained consular offices in the Sacramento area for 68 years.
